NETBALL AGE GROUPS (u/6 – u/13 YEARS):

Fuel your passion for your favourite sport & empower your players to become future effective & significant netball players! Make use of this coaching resource! (Copyright 2021)

  • With these online Netball lessons (coaching resource), a coach can become an effective, knowledgeable & quality coach, right from the comfort of your house / office.

  • Main aim: to support, assist, guide & empower YOU (as the coach) & YOUR PLAYERS to develop & perform as a holistic, progressive, competent, skilful COACH & Junior phase netball participants (u/6 – u/13].

  • Each package for the 4 respective groups, consists of 12 detailed lessons covering the following components:

  • basic netball development outline objectives suited for that specific age groups’ progressive development & required level

  • focus points for that specific lesson

  • life values/skills

  • dynamic warm up activities (“FUNdamentals”)

  • essential skills development activities & team strategies (“FUNdamentals”)

  • cool down & feedback opportunities

  • short video clips after the descriptions of the activities

TRAINING SESSIONS OBJECTIVES

EACH AGE GROUP WILL BE A PROGRESSION ON THE PREVIOUS GROUP TO END OFF WITH A WELL BALLANCED NETBALL ATLETE AT THE END OF U13.

  • Basic holistic long term development of the players.

  • Each session need to be positive, creative, fun filled and all the players need to be engaged in each activity (plan each session in detail and, see to it that there is sufficient equipment and safe court space for all the players to execute the activities).

  • Duration of the sessions: adjust to your training time available.
