Objectives

  • They will learn basic coding and programming skills by engaging with Game design concepts.

  • They will learn about the basics of developing their own game in the makecode arcade editor, and using the code language in the block code library to write efficient code.

  • Participants will learn by doing and following step-by-step instructions throughout the lessons.

Requirements

  • No previous knowledge is required.

  • You do not necessarily need a Arcade device, but you will be able to play more if you do.

  • You will need a device to connect to the internet.

  • You will be shown how to get the correct FREE apps for your device.

  • This course is recommended for individuals 10 years of age and up.
